Chewing gum is one of the biggest culprits when it comes to street pollution. Did you know that chewing gum can take up to 25 years to completely disappear? It is stubborn and difficult to remove. With our exclusive chewing gum token, you are doing your bit for a clean society. This is because these tokens are made from used gum and production surpluses.
A British company collects the chewing gum in designated bins and processes the waste into granules. We then reprocess this recyclate combined with production waste from the chewing gum industry to make our pink tokens. Fear not, they are completely hygienic! The gum waste is washed and then melted at high temperatures to ensure a clean and safe final product.
