Frequently Asked Questions
Can I clean biodegradable tokens?
Yes, you certainly can, but don't use too much water for this and definitely don't put them in the dishwasher! We recommend using a damp cloth to clean the tokens.
Are all tokens exactly the same size?
No, because of the natural nature of this material, there may be a slight difference in size.
Do all tokens have a rim as standard?
As standard most of our tokens have a rim of about 0.118" width all the way around the edge. Except for our funfair tokens, these do not have a rim.
What can I do with tokens I no longer need?
You may always return your used tokens if you no longer need them. We will then turn them back into raw material. You will receive a 5% discount on your next order as a thank you!
What actually happens when you compost biodegradable tokens?
We tested this ourselves! After several months of being outside in nature, the eco-tokens were fully composted. Exposure to rain, UV radiation, oxygen and bacteria is crucial for conversion into CO₂, water and biomass, which takes several months.
